Dessert time in the great up-north! We are vac-cay-ing this week at one of the 10,000 lakes. We've had 80's every day, caught a lot of fish and relaxing with some FL family. And, I couldn't let the week go by without some sort of dessert - because it is vacation and "watching what you eat is not an option!!" :-)

Here is one of the beautiful sunsets we've had....

Someone gave me this recipe 31 years ago at my bridal shower. I've made it for that many years. Family favorite at The Cottage! I've got a yummy variation of this one too if you ever want it!
ReplyDeleteHi Deb, I don't know which photo is the prettiest. The dessert or the sunset on the lake. Looks like you're having a great summer. Thanks for the kind comment on the toy kitchen that I made for my granddaughter, I really like that word . . . awesome.
ReplyDeleteThanks again, Steve
This is one of my all time favorite dishes EVER!! We generally have it at christmas and thanksgiving although I swear i am going to ask for it as a birthday cake one of these years... And I may just eat the whole thing :)
